ClassLink Rostering

ClassLink Rostering means Mote takes its student and class data from the district's ClassLink roster rather than a separate list maintained inside Mote. This is distinct from ClassLink SSO, which is how users sign in; rostering is who they are and which class they belong to.

Pourquoi c'est important :

Districts already maintain one roster of record; Mote should read it, not duplicate it
Class membership stays correct through the year as students move
Removes the manual account admin that otherwise falls to IT every September
Pairs with ClassLink SSO so sign-in and roster come from the same source
