Share to Mote

What this feature does:

Share to Mote puts Mote in the iOS Share sheet. From Safari, Mail, Files or any other app, share a webpage, PDF, image or a selection of text to Mote and it opens straight into a reader, ready for Read Aloud, Translation and the rest, and is saved to the student's library.

Why it matters:

Means a student does not have to start in Mote to use Mote, which is what makes it a habit
Brings accessibility support to whatever a teacher happened to send, in whatever app it arrived
Everything shared is kept in the library rather than read once and lost

MTSS:

Tier 1: Any content from any app becomes accessible
Tier 2/3: Reduces the steps between a student and their accommodation

UDL Principles:

Multiple means of representation: support follows the content wherever it comes from

Choose Mote from the Share sheet.
Read it in Mote, and find it later in your library.
