Voice Recording

What this feature does:

Voice Recording lets a student capture a thought, a reading or a piece of homework by speaking. Mote turns the recording into clean, replayable text and highlights each word as the original audio plays back, and the recording is saved to the library like any other item.

Why it matters:

Gives students a way to capture ideas before they are lost, without the effort of writing them down
Transcript plus audio together means the recording can be read as well as heard
Supports students whose spoken vocabulary runs ahead of their writing

MTSS:

Tier 1: An additional way for any student to record their thinking
Tier 2/3: An alternative to written response for students with writing difficulties

Multiple means of action and expression: students show what they know by speaking
